STEREOTYPES TV: EVIL MOSQUITO

Throughout all of the sessions we have been in lately, none stick out as much as this one.  It started with us simply creating a new song as we usually do, but then soon turned into a mini intimate concert. So on this very special episode of Stereotypes TV, we give you a first glimpse of the super international group Evil Mosquito.  They have been blazing up the radio waves and are also all over cyberspace with their self entitled Smash Hit “Evil Mosquito”.

STEREO-NEWS: FM “FETISH” OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO PREMIERES ON MTV IGGY

Recently our homies Far East Movement had the video to their song “Fetish” premiered on MTV IGGY!! Awhile back I posted a blog about the making of the video which you can check out here. This FLY KID ANTHEM is just a taste of what you’ll get when you purchase their latest CD entitled “Animal”, which is available on ITUNES.  We (Stereotypes) produced 3 songs off the album. One being “Fetish” and the others are “3D” feat. the homie Bruno Mars, and “Girls On The Dance Floor” feat. STEREO-SESSIONS: AT THE CLUB WITH NINA SKY???

So last night/this morning we had a really dope session with the one and only Nina Sky.  We started around 1pm by going through some tracks. After figuring out which direction we were going to go, we all agreed upon this dance track we just finished a few days before. Once we cranked it to 10, our homie Lil Eddie a really dope songwriter from New York came through and blessed us with the craziest lyric and melody for the track. The final Smashterpiece is the song “Beautiful People”.  It was so jammin we had to turn on the Club lights to test it out!!!

Aight so, I know we’ve been busy.  A lot of our time has been spent in the studio cooking up some new recipes.  On average we have spent about 12-14 hrs a day creating new tracks and songs with very talented songwriters.  We will definitely enlighten you with these creations once they hit the shelves, but in the meantime, check out this footage of what it has been like for us in the studio……

Stereotypes Studio Session

This is an event that I highly suggest everybody attends to benefit DJ Hideo, who has been a huge staple in Los Angeles/West Coast radio for many years. He was recently diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer which is very unfortunate. A group of us in music, film, food, nightlife and pretty much anybody who has a heart or knows Hideo including the Stereotypes have pitched in whatever resources they can to create an event such as this.  All proceeds is to benefit Hideo’s costly fight for his life and for cancer awareness in general. The show will go down on April 9th at the Mayan in Los Angeles. There’s a $20 min donation and trust me it’s worth it just to see the Stereotypes do a special set with FM  when they perform the smash hit  ”Girls On The Dance Floor”.
