You’ve seen the basketball court (or shots), seen a small portion of our studio (Club Short Bus), now we’re giving you the grand tour of Mason Sound Studios. This is just a little taste of what’s going on here at the studio. You get to meet some of the other talented producers Mansur and Oak to see how they get down here at the studio also. What’s dope to me is that you may never know who may be here on any given day. It could be Lil Jon, or Toni Braxton, Ne-Yo, or Leona Lewis, or maybe even legendary Rod Stewart. Whoever it may be, its crazy just to be in their presence. Stereotypes TV: Hercules Shot

So I was chillen out maxin’, relaxin all cool and sittin in the studio watchin’ these fools. There were a couple of guys, they looked up to no good, started makin crazy shots in my neighborhood! Haha no but really, I called these the “Hercules Shot” because they both were He-Man of a shot. This ball took quite a beating after they were done hitting the wall and NO they’re not fake or digitally enhanced. 100% authentic, REAL DEAL. Check it out…..

STEREOTYPES TV: IN THE STUDIO EDITION

FM x Stereotypes, they’re back at it again with another smash, new song featuring Ya Boy (”We Run LA“) and Lil Eddie (Jaicko “Oh Yeah”).  Since its leaked release, “2 is Better” has been getting a lot of hits on youtube and radio play in Sacramento and Power 106, LA. It was also named the #1 most downloaded song on DJCity.com within a few days.  I got to witness both hits being made right in front of my eyes.  From a young producers standpoint, it was really dope to watch all these song ideas passed around as the track was being created.

STEREOTYPES TV:EARTH, WIND AND FIRE!!!

In this episode of Stereotypes TV we take a road trip up to Lake Tahoe to see The Legendary Earth, Wind and Fire. In MY opinion, the GREATEST BAND EVER!!!! If for some odd reason you don’t know who they are, PLEASE do a little research and enlighten yourself with great music. Not only did we get to watch them in concert, but the homie Damien Smith hooked it up so we can hang out with them backstage!!! Tune in and see history in the making!!! I captured a couple clips of the performance, but I also wanted to enjoy the show and didn’t want to watch the whole show through a camera. Sooo…you’ll get to see a snippet from “In The Stone” and “Reasons”, but my favorite EWF song of all time is still “September“.

STEREOTYPES TV:IN WITH RYE RYE!!!

We just had the pleasure of working with the very dope Interscope Recording artist Rye Rye.  For those of you who don’t know, she is a Baltimore native and was discovered by M.I.A. In this episode you’ll see us working on a new song called “I’m Grown” for her album and I must say it is a SUPER SMASH!!!!
